Jennifer Coolidge. Bobi the old dog. Siberia. God. What connects all of these nouns? Nikolai Phalen.

He was born with one gift until a famous pop star took it away. Nikolai Phalen does an impeccable Jennifer Coolidge impression. It was his livelihood. Who was he without it? With nowhere else to turn, he turned to faith. He asked God the frequently asked question: WHY? What was he supposed to do now?

Fever Dream TV is a surrealist comedy piece and it’s a trip. Written and performed by Nikolai Phalen, he uses theatre, projections, and standup to create a unique journey for audiences. You’ve got to dive deep. You’ve got to really pay attention while you laugh at jokes, talking dogs, undying beef with Portugal, and pageant stories.

The show’s opening night had an audience laughing through tales with him. The show might seem all over the place sometimes, but that’s what a surrealist fever dream piece is. Let go to embrace it.

As we go through his own present journey with God and his 3 distinct voices, Nikolai Phalen figures out what his gift and purpose of Fever Dream TV is all about. I’m not going to give it away. You’ll have to find out for yourself.
